The B Class Life Extension program is set to extend the life of the B Class high floor tram fleet. As a Project Engineer, Michael worked from concept design through to engineering sign off and implementation on a large variety of modifications aimed at extending the life of the B Class tram for a further 15 years.

Projects included structural repairs to the tram frame, new driver amenities, LED running and saloon lights and refurbishment of saloon and driver windows.
